I bought this to replace my Osprey Serial pack. I like the Hip Pack Pro better for a number of reasons. 1. The waist band of the EVOC is much wider in front - like a cummerbund with an added clip. This prevents it from sagging down the butt in the back. 2. The clip on the Osprey sometimes came undone for no apparent reason, making the pack fall off in mid ride. The EVOC doesn't do this. 3. The edges of the Osprey tended to roll inward, creating discomfort around the hips. The EVOC doesn't do that either. Overall, a great product. I will say. however, that the EVOC feels a little smaller. When the bladder is installed and full, there's not much room for other stuff. I can carry tools, a first aid kit, and sports nutrition, but there wouldn't be room for additional clothing or a spare inner tube. So, a great minimalist pack that stays comfortable and stays put. Strap your tube to the frame, and you're set.
