High Alpine Necessity

The perfect amount if space and all the little mounts and straps you'd ever need without being overkill. I've even carried a sleeping pad in the helmet carry pouch, so the versatile nature of this bag just crushes. Sub 24 hour overnights or 12 hour endurance rides can be achieved with as little as a small frame bag added to the kit. If you sleep in the dirt you literally just need this pack. And don't ask me how I know, but yes the back protector works very well. If you're getting lost in the mountains on your bike and shredding places rarely reached by humans, you're gonna want this. I run mine with a 3l bladder and enough tools to even fix others bikes and still have room for jars of peanut butter and too many snacks. If you need more room than this you're doing it wrong on big rides.
