I’m leaving this review to express my deep frustration with the failure of my EVOC bike transport bag during a critical race weekend. The zipper completely delaminated, rendering the bag nearly unusable -- putting me attending my race at risk. I had no choice but to borrow a bag from a friend (from a competing brand) just to salvage the event.
The failure was not minor. It exposed a serious flaw in the bag’s design and construction. Yet EVOC’s response—blaming the airline based solely on photos—is not only baseless but dismissive. How could they possibly determine cause without a proper inspection? It’s clear from this experience that EVOC does not stand behind its products or prioritize its customers.
This bag was a major investment, and it completely let me down when it mattered most. At this point, I cannot recommend EVOC to anyone. Buyer beware.
This is my 4th different bike case and by far this Evoc pro case is the easiest and best case i have used. I got 2 of them for my son and i to travel and and not have been fantastic. Highly recommend.
LOVE this bike bag. But, with airlines being more strict with the 50lbs checked baggage limit these days, I’m finding myself paying an extra $100 each way because my enduro bike is ~54lbs… not cool.
Would happily buy a new bag from EVOC if they made it a bit lighter. Sucks to lose around half the allotted weight (~22lbs) to the bag itself.
Higher cost would quickly be justified!
I've spent the last 2 weekends trying to get my bike into the Evoc Pro Bike Bag. Things I like - the size and weight are good. Once the fiberglass inserts are in it feels sturdy (will see if it holds up to the test with my first upcoming trip). The straps inside are well designed to hold the bike in place. Things I really don't like - the instruction manual is terrible. Just skip it and watch Youtube videos. Both wheels have to come off the bike. Evoc doesn't include a 12 x 100MM axle insert (I have a Lauf gravel bike) so I had to cut one to fit - poor form. My main concern is that the wheels are on equal sides of the bag and are pressing against the frame. It would work better to have the wheels on opposite sides of the bag so they aren't both pressing against the frame. Overally, not a great unboxing and install experience and I'm concerned about this design in transit.
i bought two cases from them. evoc case pro, and evoc travel bag. we have used them 3-4 times. almost all the rivets broke on the pro. the evoc travel bag is collapsing and the front wheel assembly broke. Nicole in Germany will not stand behind the products and ignore my e-mails. the guys in the u.s. are not helpful either. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE. too see the pictures.. go evoc on Germany's website look at google review and you will the pictures. THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THERE PRODUCT.
PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE, DONT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE TERRIBLE.
