The EVOC Downtube Pack WP 1.2 is a waterproof 1.2L anything-bag: like the spare in your trunk, but on your bike. A tube, a plug kit, whatever you need in case of emergency, tucked away for the day you need them. Straps to the frame, seals with a roll-top.
The down tube is the dirtiest real estate on a bike. It catches whatever the front wheel throws back: mud, grit, road spray. Place a zipper there and it'll clog and fail over time, so we went with a classic roll-top. Combined with our waterproof, PFAS-free material, it keeps your stuff clean and dry.
The bag uses two custom TPU straps to attach to the frame, so you can strap it anywhere there's a gap, even on a full-suspension bike. Anti-slip padding keeps it from creeping once you're on rough ground.
Inside you can store 1.2L of anything: a spare tube, a multitool, a plug kit, a CO2 or two, whatever you don't need to reach for mid-ride. Roll it down tighter when it's half full so nothing rattles.
Why a roll-top instead of a zipper?
Because the down tube collects the most dirt on the bike, and a zipper there would clog and wears out. A roll-top has nothing to fail.
Where can I mount it, and does my frame need bosses?
No bosses needed. It straps on with two TPU straps, so it goes under the down tube or anywhere on the frame you've got room. That makes it a good fit for bikes that can't run a seat pack, like full-suspension frames and smaller frames.
Will it stay put on rough trails?
Yes. The two TPU straps cinch it tight to the frame, and anti-slip padding on the back keeps it from sliding around when the trail gets rough.
What fits in 1.2L?
A spare tube, a multitool, a tubeless plug kit, a CO2 cartridge or two, and a couple of snacks. It's built for tools and spare parts you need to carry, but don't need easy access to.
