Will it still fit two water bottles?
Yup. Both sizes are shaped to clear two cages in the front triangle, so you don't trade storage for hydration. Exact clearance comes down to your frame size, cage placement, and bottle size. If your frame is smaller than 52 cm, we recommend the Top Tube 2L. We developed it for Jana Kesenheimer, the fastest woman at the Transcontinental Race, a self-supported race across Europe.
What's the difference between the 1.5L and the 3L?
Length, mostly. The 1.5L is 30 cm long. The 3L is 47 cm long. The 1.5L is ideal for shorter rides and commuting around town. The 3L is ideal for longer routes, where you need to carry more food, tools, and layers.
What fits inside?
The 1.5L can easily fit a small layer and several bags of gummy bears. You can fit tools, a tube, mini pump, snacks, more snacks, and a packable layer in the 3L.
How does it attach?
TPU straps wrap it onto your frame, no bolts or permanent mounts required. It ships with frame protection so the straps don't chew up your paint. Running one of our top tube bags? You can daisy chain one to the Frame Pack and extend your storage without bolting anything else to the bike.
