This Midsized Curved pad fits my 2023 Ridgeline perfectly! (Folds up nice and stores in the truck bed trunk too!) Swing the tailgate open for easy install with the simple straps. The cutout for the camera and tailgate handle is a nice touch. No more backup sensors going crazy with a hitch rack. I ordered the midsize/ML for my 2020 Tacoma. It fits perfectly on the tailgate, super snug. It’s easy to install as well as remove quickly when needed.
I loved the overall look/color, Chose the green colored pad. It’s easy to secure the e-bikes to with the Velcro straps on it and easy cleaning off any dirt, mud or marks on it from the tires.
Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great quality tailgate pad to pack up your bikes and head up the mountains!!
The tailgate pad was easy to install and protects the paint on my truck. I've used it about a dozen times, and the paint on the tailgate has no discernible scuffs or marks. Getting bikes on and off is quick and straightforward. The Velcro straps do an adequate job of keeping bikes secure, but I will likely use another rack option when I am driving on anything that requires 4-wheel drive. I secure my bikes to the bed with an additional strap when traveling on the highway because I'm not convinced the Vecro strap would keep the bike from launching into the cab during a high-speed head-on collision. All in all, this is a great option to get my bike from the city to the trailhead. I can't imagine this tailgate pad wearing out, but I'd buy another if it does.
It's honestly my favorite upgrade that I've done to my truck. It looks soooo much better with it and it's super functional! Wish I could show pictures, because my Tacoma seriously looks badass with it
I ordered this from the site and I put my vehicle information as requested; 2023 Ford F250 with 6.5’ bed. This item does not fit as described- not even close. The tailgate on my truck is simply too thick for this to work as described; I cannot use the tailgate camera flap, not enough material covers the actual painted surface of the tailgate to prevent bike tire contact.
While I’m frustrated that it doesn’t fit as described, it does seem to be a quality product. At this point I will just use it and adjust it the best I can with certain exceptions.
Hi Steve, thank you for leaving a review! The tailgates on newer pick up tracks have grown wider and wider, so we also offer a 'curved' version which is better suited for your pickup.
