I bought this bag a few years ago and just keep finding problems. This was my first EVOC bag (I used Osprey for years). #1 —you have to buy the helmet attachment. I often take my helmet off during bus/train connections or long rides up pass roads and the system is a pain to use. You have to attach four clips to your bag to get it to work #2 —The placement of the water bladder needs to be rethought. Condensation comes through the internal divider and soaks anything touching the divider. Not fun to get off a bus and have to put on wet gloves. #3—There is no outside mesh holder/sleeve to quickly stuff a jacket or dirty gear. When the rain stops, the only place to put the wet jacket is back in the bag - so now everything that hasn't already become wet with the condensation is wet! #4—The tool/gear area needs a redesign. The lower pockets are so shallow that anything you put in them falls out. The elastic barely stayed tight for two seasons. The top pockets aren't deep enough to hold an air pump or shock pump. So, the pumps always fall out when you open the zipper. #5 The waist belt velcro didn't last too long and constantly comes loose. It helps that there is a strap with a buckle over it but better velcro is needed.
Positives: The bag is comfortable to wear and the fabric is durable.
If this bag cost 100, I wouldn't mind, but paying 250 for a bag with this many flaws is frustrating.
