Pack every bike you own. The Bike Bag Pro is our most versatile bag. It fits road, gravel, XC, enduro, and DH bikes up to 29", with an aluminum stand for faster assembly and a clip-on front wheel for navigating airport transfers.
The Bike Bag Pro is the upgraded version of our Bike Bag, one of the best-selling bike travel cases ever made. The Pro features a clip-on front wheel that makes it easy to navigate around airport terminals. It also includes a stiffer polycarbonate base for added impact protection and an aluminum stand you bolt your bike to, rather than a padded foam block, which better protects your frame.
It's confirmed to fit everything from a Santa Cruz V10 DH bike in XL to a Specialized Diverge gravel bike. As one rider put it: "You can pull this bag through the airport with one finger."
Will my bike fit?
Check your bike's wheelbase, which is the distance between your axles. You can use a measuring tape or check the geometry chart. The maximum wheelbase is 130 cm (51.2 in). It fits virtually every enduro and downhill bike on the market, with the exception of some XXL models.
We have confirmed fitment for: Santa Cruz Gen 8 V10 S – XL, Specialized Demo 11 S2 – S5, Specialized Diverge 44 – 60, Pivot Firebird V5 XS – XL.
The case itself measures 147 × 85 × 36 cm (57.9 × 33.5 × 14.2 in).
Which Bike Bag should I Buy?
If you only travel occasionally and you're on a budget, the standard Bike Bag is hard to beat. If you frequently travel with different bikes and enjoy the small luxuries in life, the Bike Bag Pro is our most versatile bag.
If you only travel with a road bike, we recommend checking out our Road Bike Bag Pro. It allows you to pack your drop bar bike by removing the wheels and pedals and nothing else. It's the bag of choice for the Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe team. Prefer the gravity side of things? Our Mountain Bike Bag Pro lets you rotate the bars and go. Both the Road and Mountain Bike Bag Pro are ideal for bikes with internal cable routing,.
Do I need extra padding?
The rigid base and internal straps protect your frame from impact and shifting in transit. However, many riders add foam pipe insulation or additional foam padding for extra peace of mind, especially on international or multi-leg trips.
How do I store it when I'm not traveling?
Remove the internal rails and disassemble the stand, then roll the fabric shell down. We also offer a storage bag, that enables the rear wheels to roll, for easy handling.
takes a bit to figure out how to get it in place (directions could be better) ... easy to roll through the airport. Single wheel takes a bit of pressure to lock in, but it stayed on when I forgot to take it off on a two leg flight.
it takes about 20 minutes to break down and load.
with by gravel bike and some parts it weighs in at 47#s.
This bag will change your life. The stand inside, the pockets, the little wheel that clips to the handle…. You can pull this bag through the airport with one finger. I’ve don’t 3 bike bags and a gear bag solo. Great piece of gear.
